This policy explains what information HomeWitly handles when you use the site.

No accounts, no personal profiles

You don’t need an account. The answers you give in our tools stay in your browser and in the page address (so you can share or bookmark a plan). We don’t store them on our servers or tie them to you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage, such as which guides are read, how many people finish a tool, and which recommendations are clicked. These events don’t include your name or contact details. Analytics providers may process your IP address and device information under their own privacy policies.

Google Analytics uses cookies. If you’re in the EU/EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off unless you choose “Allow analytics.” Elsewhere they’re on by default. Anyone can change their choice at any time with Privacy choices in the site footer. Declining removes our Google Analytics cookies. We don’t use Google’s advertising features or Google signals.

Search terms

When you describe a problem, we use the text to find a match. If analytics are enabled, the search text may be recorded in aggregate to help us cover problems we’re missing. Please don’t enter personal information in the search box.

Affiliate links and Amazon

When you click an affiliate link, you go directly to Amazon, which may set cookies to attribute purchases to us. Amazon’s privacy notice applies on its site. We don’t receive your personal or payment details.

Hosting logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
